Even WE come back from a vacation refreshed and ready to face the "world" again. With today's hectic lives, perhaps when on vacation, kids get to see the "real" mum and dad again :) I was also surprised with the fact that it didn't matter what kind of vacation they took - would have thought that maybe a trip to a historical site would be more stimulating for the brain but I guess the only things that matter is to take a break from whatever it is that you usually do.
